About Bloom! 

Hello there. We are small family owned business that has been operating for 5 years in the San Antonio, Tx community. Our goal is to bring a little happiness to people by way of fun and unique items. Our store carries a variety of items ranging from fun, sassy socks to colorful clothing, hand painted furniture and local art.

 

Something that makes us unique is that we lend our retail space (free of charge) to local artists/artisans/makers so that they can sell their unique wears in order to support and promote small business and build youth entrepreneurs. We also partner with SBA and our local MAESTRO Entrepreneur Center to host classes and connect new makers with business skills and resources to grow their passion.

 

While supporting the small business and Maker community has always been in our mission, during COVID, we saw many small boutiques and makers close their doors. We were blessed to have support of family and friends to help us push through. Now more than ever we are dedicated to helping out our fellow makers.

 

Here how we aim to continue to do it.

 

Market Days:  This free event takes place every third weekend of the month. Makers are encouraged to reserve a spot (free of charge) though our online application.  Your art, your money.  We do not take any sales percentages or have applied fees. 

 

What you need: All Makers must have a merchant sales certificate as required by the state and city. Makers must have vendor's license visible at exhibit tables at all times. There is $25.00 refundable deposit to secure space.  Once event is over, Maker will pack and pick up.  All trash, props and merchandise must be picked up.  25.00 is issued back to Maker.  

Artists: We are always looking for one of a kind art to decorate our walls.  If you would like to exhibit and sell your art, please contact us so that we can view your artwork and show you available wall space.  All art must be priced, an artist bio is required that includes contact information. 

Retailers and Collectors:  At times, we have open sales floor space available for start up retailers.  We will provide you with free space for one month Pop-Up sale. We will partner with you to showcase your items and promote on social media platforms. Call us for more information on this opportunity.

Grow Small: Grow Small is a series of coffee shop talks with presentations from non-profit business development leaders like MAESTRO, LIFT Fund, SBA and SAGE. This is an opportunity for you to learn about several programs that can help you build your business, grow your network and invest in yourself as an emerging business.  We provide the space, light food and drinks for the occasion.  Due to COVID, these are small gatherings of no more than 10 people per learning session. Information on upcomming sessions will be made available on our social pages and website.
